HOW TO I GET AN AGENT?
I WANT TO BE A COUNTRY ARTIST. I NEED AN AGENT OR A RECORDING STUDIO. I REALLY WANT TO BE AN ARTIST. PLEASE HELP ME! THANK YOU!
be talented, be presentable to the public and of course, play a guitar. its very tough to break into the country music business. its well-guarded. if you have the above mentioned qualifications, you will have to be noticed by the public. this means organizing some musicians and playing before the public. name recognition is imperative. you may have to change your name. some name the public can associate easily and remember. becoming a recognized singer, takes time. a lot of time. to see just how tough it is to become a country music singer, go to a used cd store. notice how many cd's were recorded by country music singers, that did not make it. there are many. this occupation is a gamble. hope you are lucky.
1. get a manager who can push you to success
2. put a demo tape together and send it to the record label (if you have a good manager, he/she will handle this properly)
3. Shoot a music video and your manager will get it on a local station or even MTV
4. hope you have good songs and lots of charisma cuz it will take you far
