How does Montecito compare to Bel Air and Beverly Hills?
What is the area most comfortable, beautiful view, or wealthest?
I think that Montecito is smaller and less cluttered. It has about 10,000 inhabitants. There are only two retail areas are very low: Upper Village and Coast Village Road. Santa Barbara is close, but there is not much choice in shops, restaurants, etc., it is cheaper: you can get a nice house pleasant in Montecito for about $ 2-3 million, which is reasonable compared to the other two. In addition, Montecito has a requirement of a minimum area hectare, if the houses are much further away. You do not get traffic in Montecito, or the time is better, and there is no smog. Since you are away from crime LA, I think it's safer, too. However, because Santa Barbara is so expensive, it is more difficult to get help in Montecito: I'm still waiting for one Montecito millionaires to drop dead because there was not an ambulance driver or paramedic available. If you're really thinking of Montecito - Looking for something around Montecito Union School: you can not get the best view of the ocean, but you will not have time warmer than the foothills get.
