What is a cute way to tell my kids I had surgery?
I'm going back to work tomorrow (I'm an elementary school teacher) after having surgery on my stomach. I'm not 100% yet and I still walk very slow and have trouble getting up and down and lifting things. What's a cute way to tell my kids that I had surgery and not have to go into deals and still be able to respect my privacy from the nosy parents?

Things happen in life to people and we need to have them fixed so I had to have some things fixed but I will be fine a tad slower and a tad lighter LOL LOL.Just let them know you are not feeling well they are so quick to assist you in this time all you have to do is ask each of them through out the day give all the kiddies a turn doing something for you till you are ready to do for your self... Kids do understand and will pick up on you as soon as you come into the class.......
