If i model nude for someone I do not know?
a woman who claims to be a "hippie artist" wants me to ask nude for his painting. I do not know myself but was introduced to her by another acquaintance that I met only once before. What are the precautions and procedures to pose nude for an unknown artist? if she wants to take pictures to use as a reference, should I leave? If I understand this is not an art class, but as a private meeting for herself. thank you for your help!
First check its portfolio and references. Second talk with her and try to get an idea of what it wants to take them to suffer. See if you feel comfortable with it. Ask if others will be there and if so, what are their functions. See the third model release forms. Read them carefully. They are to describe how, where and so on display painting. Make sure any additional provisions regarding the pictures. It is not rare for an artist to use a camera to capture a pose difficult for you to hold for long periods of time. Fourth check with schools art and models on current rates for installation. I understand your concern, but if everything looks good and you feel comfortable, then do it and enjoy to become a work of art. NiF
