Am I going to jail for being stupid?
Someone invited me to a private chatroom (im pretty sure it was someone old and probably a guy in his 20's)
and pretended that they wanted to have "relations"
I knew it was a prank, and played along trying to trick the prankster.
The person asked me to show photos of myself, so that they could send theirs, these are the photos I sent:

Then the person did something I didn't expect, and which is making me terrified
they said that they reported my IP address to the FBI tips as a sexual offender.
Now I think I'm going to jail because I tried to trick a trickster.
Am I?
In my opinion, I seriously doubt the FBI will do anything at all. They might investigate, but since you didn't really do anything wrong, I doubt anything will happen. The diagram wasn't of an actual person and it didn't show much detail. I'm sure this "trickster" has googled worse images on his or her own time. It's not like you were showing off pictures of people doing obscene sexual things or, even more disgustingly, showing off child porn.
This trickster may not have even reported you - maybe it was just another trick to scare you (albeit a dumb trick/prank).
So no, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
