if i have a photograph of great news value where do you suggest i should handover my photographs so that i get
the license to the photographs and remain the owner. is there any government agency or trustful private firm i can approach to??
A lot depends on the type of photograph and do you want to profit from your possession, if not then simply presenting it conditionally to a news agency would suffice. If historic then a responsible historian (like from Christie's) would likely be good to do an appraisal.
If looking to profit then likely need a lawyer to contractually represent and protect your interests. For a long time Getty Images has been the #1 provider of stock and editorial photographs. Many do business with this broker of photographs and videos and they do business with the various news outlets.
