Are you saddened by the news of Bettie Page passing away?
I am a Bettie Page fan. I first heard of her from my Dad. Bettie Page was a Pin Up girl from my Dad's generation. She was one of the great beauties in which my Dad and I agreed that she was a gorgeous and stunning looking woman. I was very sad to hear of her passing away within the past week. Can you please leave any kind comments about Bettie herein? Please do not be rude and make mean and judgemental "holier than thou" comments. She was a nude model and did do some risque photography and films back in the 1950s and early 1960s before she left nude photography and films to become a Born Again Christian. For those of you who know about Bettie and have seen The Notorious Bettie Page with Gretchen Mol and have some familiarity with her life, please mention any kind remarks and remembrances. Thanks. Hugh Hefner did speak about her passing and said some kind words.
My dad also loved Bettie Page! Wow, i didn't know she died! I have some posters and books of her, even a car freshner! haha. we'll they're not really mine, they're my dads. But yeah she was cool, she was herself she didn't care about what others thought. She was risque, which was different for girls to be back then. And possibly the best part about her is that she wasn't 90 pounds like alls todays Bettie Page's are.
I loved her old fashioned yet sexy style.
