weight loss please help?
ok well i weight 130 pounds and i need to loss weight also because im short so i just look puddgy and horrible i always feel self contious about my weight any help please dieting food list exercise list i swim and eat fruit but also i take in junk food but swimming is my sport im on swimm team but anything would help right now also because summer and swim suit season because 3 months in a tiny bikini doesnt sound very fun to me right now
umm im super short im 5 foot even
I suggest loosing weight the old fashioned healthy way. This year I've lost 40 pounds by eating lots of fruits and veggies, cutting back on junk (not cutting it out completely) and time spent working out. It sounds simple, but I promise it really works. A good way to start is to think about what you would normally eat at a meal, and replace half of it with a fruit of veggie. Like before I would eat two tacos for a dinner, but now I have a salad or an apple and one taco. Also, when you want a snack, go for the healthy stuff too. I never let myself go hungry, but I don't eat just anything. Make sure you're getting foods from all the food groups each day. And pay attention to portion sizes on packaging. I let myself have chips now and then, but I make sure I look at the calories and only eat 1 serving of them. I'm all about having a healthy, balanced diet and a little junk food can help stop cravings so you don't go crazy. Probably the hardest part for me has been social situations. For some reason, its socially awkward to turn down candy, cookies, cake etc when you're around other people. For a long time I just dealt with feeling like I wasn't part of the group because I wasn't eating. But lately I've learn that if I plan ahead and know that I may have an opportunity to eat dessert, then I can plan on eating a little healthier that day or maybe run a little longer. You can also try switching up your exercise, running has done wonders for me.
Next time you're offered some type of junk food, just think of what will make you happier, loosing the weight or a few bites of food? Good luck!
