Athletic Hunk
What advice do you have for me?
I tend to be a little arrogant sometimes, but it's due to the fact that I'm young, 21, intelligent, athletic and hot. I work for the provincial government (the equivalent of the state government) in Canada. I play for my university's rugby team. I work out regularly. I'll be graduating with a BBA degree (major in accounting) at UBC. Pretty soon I'll be doing a CA designation or MBA, which will be paid for by the government. I've got a muscular body. I'm arrogant at times, I admit it, but who wouldn't be at my age? Intelligent, successful, athletic, and hot. I'm a hunk with brains.
I work very hard for my success, yet my success is looked down upon when mentioned to some people. It's frustrating at times. What advice do you have regarding this issue?
I would prefer mature answers.
Christina, you look too young. Thanks, though
Ignore the haters? Continue being proud of your success. Certainly don't put others down when they're not as successful as you, but if you aren't doing that, then I don't see a problem with your attitude. There's a difference between arrogance and pride, so don't get a fat head if you've done nothing to warrant it... but it's ok to have a realistic sense of self-worth; don't try to shed that.
