How much are these wwII photos worth?
I have acquired an entire album of photos from wwII/occupation and I am in need of some money, so I may part with some of them.
They are original prints. Many of them are what appear to be naval soldiers around town in Japan, some are of street life, with geishas and street vendors, and there are several of soldiers inside a ship(?), in a ballroom, getting a haircut, etc. And one of a body bag being lifted to a helicopter. Overall they are varied subjects, and there are about 100 photos or more in the album, which itself is from Japan.
What would you say these are worth offhand, if I were to piece them up or sell them as one album?

probably not much unless you can find a collector.
you can try photo supply firms who might buy some to use as stock pics. bear in mind, they are not worth very much.
contact authors who have written about this part of the campaign; see if anyone's interested.
contact a military library and tell them what you have.
call a governt agency in d.c. and tell them what you have; see if they are interested.
